2 Then the king said to call in the [a](A)magicians, the conjurers, the sorcerers, and the [b]Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king. 3 Then the king said to them, “I [c](B)had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”

4 Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in [d](C)Aramaic: “(D)O king, live forever! (E)Say the dream to your servants, and we will declare the interpretation.”
